The responsibilities of a coach are not the same as those of a critic

Being a coach isn’t the same as being a critic.

If you’re leading a sales team…

It’s not your job to JUST highlight what isn’t working.

It IS your job to…

- Prioritize the most important things to fix first.
- Create actionable steps for improvement.
- Develop an accountability plan to revisit.
- Reinforce the things that are working well already.

In the absence of this…

It’s just criticism.

Not coaching.

And anyone can criticize from the cheap seats.

It’s coaches that make a difference.
