RR#081 Question Everything
Confession: Victimization mindsets are repulsive to me.
They turn me off faster than anything else I can think of.
You know what I’m talking about. Excuse making. Woe is me. The world is against me. Other people have it so much easier.
I have no time for any of that.
But here’s the thing, victimization mindsets aren’t always obvious.
Oftentimes, they’re deeply entrenched in beliefs we hold - beliefs we never bother to question.
It's less a case of “The world is against me” and more a sense of “The situation is just this way, and there's nothing I can do about it.”
I see this all the time in business.
Entrepreneurs repeatedly remain stuck in businesses they've built yet can't stand, unwilling to question the deeply held beliefs they have about those businesses.
Evidence is everywhere that something is wrong.
They’re strapped for time. Burning out. Frustrated and overwhelmed. Not making enough money.
And worst of all, other people pass them by. But explaining that away as “They just have it easier.”
Is your business delivering what you want it to?
Autonomy. Freedom. Wealth.
If not, don't let yourself become a victim to the business you've created.
Start questioning everything. And I mean everything.
