Change is about people, not plans or strategies
ALL change leads back to people.
Regardless of where change is needed (sales, operations, etc.)..
You have to consider: "Do my people..."
- Know where we are going?
- REALLY know, or am I assuming they can read my mind?
- Know WHY we are going there?
- Know what needs to happen to get there?
- Know the part THEY play in making it happen?
- Know if we are on track or need to modify plans?
- Have an avenue to voice concerns along the way?
Plans on paper are important.
But they aren't that helpful on their own.
And in order for those plans to materialize...
It will take people changing to make it happen.
And that means appealing to human element of change.
Both the logical and emotional parts of our brains.
