Appreciating wins creates a perfect balance with the desire for improvement

The one downside to constantly pursuing improvement?

It lends itself to to not appreciating accomplishments.

That's why I keep a WIN journal everyday.

Throughout the day, or at the end of the day, I jot down wins.

Some are personal.
Some are professional.
Some are big wins.
Some are small wins.

Regardless, I capture some each day.

Because, to capture them, I have to acknowledge them.

Acknowledging them lends itself to appreciating them.

And appreciating the wins is a great balance to constantly looking for what needs to improve.

It's also a great resource to revisit when you feel like you're getting your ass kicked.
