An impressive “sales” pitch

You know that feeling of being impressed by a sales pitch?

I had it this weekend.

From a pitch that kind of told me I was wrong...

I posted a role on a job board for help w/something on Hubspot.

50+ people said, "I can do this in 48 hours for 10 - 25/hour."

1 person sent a video that said, "You're going to run into problems."

And then explained why the thing I was asking for...

Wasn't going to happen without wasting a lot of money.

And she was right.

By the end of a 4 minute video...

  • I had a resource to do the small job myself in 10 minutes.

  • I knew what I originally wanted was unlikely to happen.

  • I saved myself hours of frustration.

  • I had a reason to avoid the 50 people that didn't tell me this.

  • I had a new expert to go to for work I needed a pro in.

  • I had a call booked to explore other ways she could help...

At 5 - 10x the price of almost everyone else.

No cheesy tactics.

No bullshit one liners.

No templates.

Just...

Candor. Value. Honesty.

Now that's great sales and marketing.
